Okay, maybe not 100% obvious in a Chinese context. Chinese have many social reasons for eating that have nothing to do with hunger. So, I can see someone being full and yet eating anyway, so as not to offend the host.
When I’m tired, I don’t feel like walking.
When I’m thirsty, I just want a big glass of something that’s wet.
